Eden Anime Gets Manga Adaptation

Shonengahosha's Young King Ours magazine's official Twitter account announced on Saturday that Netflix's four-episode original anime Eden is inspiring a manga adaptation. Tsuyoshi Isomoto will draw the manga, which will launch in the April issue of the Young King Ours GH magazine on February 16.

Netflix describes the anime:

The upcoming sci-fi fantasy series Eden is set thousands of years in the future, where a city known as “Eden 3” is inhabited solely by robots whose former masters vanished a long time ago. On a routine assignment, two farming robots accidentally awaken a human baby girl from stasis questioning all they were taught to believe -- that humans were nothing more than a forbidden ancient myth. Together, the two robots secretly raise the child in a safe haven outside Eden.

Surfers, Designers and Animals Frolick On The Beach in WAVE!! x Heaven's Design Team Collaboration Illustration

To commemorate the recent premieres of WAVE!! Surfing Yappe!! and Heaven's Design Team, Asahi Productions, who produced both anime series, have released a collaboration illustration of the two. The illustration depicts Masaki Hinaoka and Shou Akitsuki from WAVE!! Surfing Yappe!! playing with various animals on the beach alongside Shimoda and Kimura from Heaven's Design Team. In addition, the official Twitter accounts of both series are currently running a giveaway campaign until January 19, 11:59 pm JST. During the campaign period, those who follow any of the two accounts and retweet the corresponding tweets (embedded below) will receive a desktop wallpaper of the illustration as well as smartphone standby images of each character featured in the illustration.
